We are passionate about Montessori methods of education in our early learning centre.
Green Tree Montessori Children’s Centre is primarily a full day Montessori program and currently we also offer an infant-toddler classroom.
We have an ongoing preschool class with limited spaces.
We also have plans to include before and after school program in the future.
We are licensed by the Fraser Health Authority. Our teachers are highly qualified, extremely talented ,compassionate and nurturing. Most of our teachers are Montessori trained and licensed Early Childhood Educators with a valid First Aid certificate and criminal record check clearance.
Green Tree Montessori is a progressive Montessori centre. We are committed to providing a nurturing and a safe environment dedicated to educating the whole child; heart, mind, and body. We strive to provide the best learning environment for your child at all times.
Our aim is to enrich your child’s learning and peak natural curiosity with a specially designed Progressive Montessori Curriculum.
Why we are different and what we offer in our 3-5 Full day and Extended day programs:
- Comprehensive Montessori preschool curriculum; that incorporates practical life, Sensorial learning, Language Arts curriculum, Math curriculum and Science curriculum.
- Theme based extensive cultural curriculum; which includes continent studies, culinary activities with our very own in-house professionally trained chef/ teacher.
- Reggio and Froebel Influence; loose parts of play and nature-based activities.
- Weekly French curriculum; we have our own in-house extremely talented French and art teacher.
- Our fine arts program; this includes monthly Montessori style famous artist studies, weekly theme related fine arts projects, drawing lessons, sculpting lessons, rock painting , monthly theme-based art and more…
- Music & movement and story telling; Exposure to Composer studies...felt stories and rock stories.
- Yoga / Zumba; offered seasonally
- Covid Measures;We also practice extremely safe Covid-19 measures daily.
